I also want to get an sct and keep my attitude for the monitoring. I would be curious to know this also.

When I did this I noticed less smoke and power from my sct tunes with the attitude on the stock setting. I also noticed a 5-6 shift flare. When the edge was not hooked up the truck ran flawlessly. I sold my attitude for $250 and bought a gauge package for like $50 more.

I just went through all this myself. I asked a bunch of questions about it to the guys and all of them told me that the edge will interfere with the SCT. It would be harder to try to tune around it than it would to just sell the edge. Take the money you get from that and buy the insight for your gauges. It will be so much easier on you and the truck. That's what I ended up doing.

I would highly recommend getting a gauge kit and an sct. I also thought about using my banks back when I had it in stock setting and run an sct, but just decided to sell everything and go with gauges and an innovative tuned sct. Check out our link SCT X3 Custom Innovative Diesel Tunning/ Gauge Combo Kit . Any questions just ask us and we'll try to work out a deal for you!
