High Idle Mod

Maybe this is a stupid question, but what is the point of the high idle mod besides that it make your truck idle higher? it realy doesnt make sence to me. also are there any free mods i can do to my 04 6.0? i know there are some for the 7.3 so i was wondering if there are any for the 6.0. thanks

The high idle mod is exactly that. For the guys that need it, it makes sense ie for cold mornings up north you may want the rig to idle higher to warm up before pulling with it. Or for jumping another vehicle it ups the output to the other vehicle.

Basically, for the guys who need it they know why........being in SC you probably wont need it to battle the cold......

I have high idle on my chip. It gets pretty cold here so its nice for in the mornings to start the truck and flip high idle on and turn the heat on. Then the EBPV closes and the truck is up to operating temp in like 5 minutes max and hot heat. I love it.

PM ME FOR VINYL DECALS!
