egr delete and programmer questions

I have a 04 with all the banks stuff on it and my six gun died on me the other day. I want to replace it with either another six gun or whatever tuner people are seeming to get the best all around power and fuel economy. I also have a egr delete that I'm going to be installing shortly, so I'm not sure if the banks with work with that. So if anyone has any feed back on my situation please let me know and thanks in advance.

SCT is about all your going to hear. Get custom tunes and you will be pleasantly surprised.

SCT X3/SF3 for the tuner, if you are looking for gauges, go with the Edge Insight, its an all in one gauge only, not a tuner. Here is some more info on the Insight:

if you have half a brain and are somewhat mechanically inclined its very easy to do, its just time consuming, but drinking a few beers and working with a friend it hardly seems long at all

awesome, is there a blog or something that tells you what to do step by step or a website? ive looked but not that hard. also, the problem i have is that I have the edge juice on my truck now but need to get that off so I can use the sct I just got and i have NO idea about what to do with that, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

as far as taking the edge off, return the tune on the programmer to stock, then load up the sct

so all I have to do is turn the edge to stock and then I can load the sct? that sounds too easy haha but makes sense. wut if i want to sell just the edge programmer and keep the display? Then how would I do that without messing with the egt sensor and stuff? sry for the questions but as you can tell, im still learning. appreciate your time and knowledge

You bet, just load the stock tune to the truck and it will unlock the edge, do a bit more reading on that there may be a step by step you can follow to make things fool proof, but theyre made to be just that easy that a monkey can do it! I've never dealt with the edge stuff but I do not believe you can use the Edge juice as a display only, you can however keep the probe and just get a used insight cheap (since the new CS and CTS are available) or get the new insight and install the new probe they use (the new ones i hear are different than the old insight/probes) gotta learn sometime right?
