Arrow Can I put a BOV in my 04 6.0

Just wondering if I can put a blow off valve in my truck or it an internal wastegate ???

The 6.0 uses a VGT turbo which requires no wastegate. I guess in a way it's an "internal" waste gate. Search VGT turbo and you can read for days.

In many configurations, VGTs do not even require a wastegate; however, this depends on whether the fully open position is sufficiently open to allow boost to be controlled to the desired level at all times. Some VGT implementations have been known to over-boost if a wastegate is not fitted.

My 6.0 is modded and a bigger vgt turbo, and I still dont need a blow off valve, Ive ran Elites SS and still didnt need one, plan on running the biggest VGT possible and a buddy runs it no problem. Its all in tuning.
