old style oil rails vs. new style

hey guys. i am going to be pulling the motor soon to fix my bedplate leak and do a couple of other things. i am wondering if it is worth the cost and hassle to upgrade to the newer style oil rails in the head? i would need new (used) heads to go with it as well. i know they are quieter while running. just wondering if its worth it or not.
let me know what you think about this.

I guess your talking about the oil rails on top of the head under the valve cover that feeds the injectors? If so I thought they were all the same..

With the mods you have listed in your sig, IMHO it's not worth the cost.

kurt, i plan on getting a powermax turbo, and 155 injectors. i guess i should have stated that in the first place. sorry. also, i am trying to get cash for your injectors as well. seeing as i didn't PM you back!

It's ok..

If they sell they sell, and if not I'll keep 'em... Even with a powermax and 155's I don't think you'll come even remotely close to needing to upgrade the rails and pump to the newer style. Won't run any better or worse either way.

IF you dont have all the parts its not worth your time an effort. you'll need more then just oil rails. Id know lol

Think thats it. Might be missing something though

Newer glowplug harness' for each side, and the different ICP mount, sensor, and wiring extension for it...along with a plug to seal the old ICP sensor location.
But, if I had to do it again...I would also just get the newer '05 style HPOP and housing...all HPO problems solved.
