is this stainless or aluminized

is this stainless or aluminized
my guess is aluminized because it rusted so bad but just want to make sure. i bought this exhaust from silverline in 05, so it lasted 5 years of snow plowing which is pretty good. and i dont have any paperwork left on it

so let me know what u think, i want to get this gasser look off my truck and buyin aluminized 5 inch will save me some $ to buy my sct at the same time\
or do i just go with stainless 4 inch. i wanted the 5 inch for sound and look but doesnt really matter that much

Aluminum and go with the 4", no need to waste on the 5". Just go with a 6 inch tip!

definitely not stainless. if it was you would see discoloration at the welds but it wouldn't be flaking rust like that.

Looks aluminized. If you want your new exhaust to stay rust free in your climate I would suggest spending the extra $$$ for 304SS. 409 will still show light surface rust over time especially with all the salt on our roads in the midwest. 4" is all you need.
