Just wondering if anyone is pretty good with sct's. i have a friend that just sold his mustang and he let me use his sct x3. I just loaded the preloaded 6.0 tune and it really woke up the truck. just wondering if anybody knew the specs on the preloaded tune and if I could download any custom tunes that are a little less aggresive. Also i'd like to know about the egr delete feature. is it just as effective as an actual egr delete. thanks

yes the egr delete as effective as actually deleting it but down the road with the programer you gonna run into problems with the egr tube.... i changed 2 in my truck before i did the delete .... it is definately the way to go

no, not at all. you can turn off the egr valve with an sct, but the cooler can still rupture and that is where you get the big problems. delete it. and some custom tunes will be good as well for your truck. those canned tunes are not anything impressive. custom tunes keep cp in spec for stock heads and turn off the egr valve.
