Programmer Help

Today i went out and purchased the Diablo Sport Predator Programmer( 375$) for my 2004 F250 Powerstore. I didnt get the full wow like i was expecting. Luckly i have a 24 hour return. dont get me wrong it did make a big difference but i feel like i can get a better one for the money. Do yall have any advice on what i should do. I realy do not have a 1000 to spend on one so keep the price in mind( up to probably around 600). plus i would realy prefer to have shift on the fly. Thanks for the help.

here you go.. htis is the only thing i would put on a 6.0L SCT X3 Custom Innovative Diesel Tunning

you should get some gauges though too... even gauges and that tuner wont get you over 1k.... you would be looking at under 800 bucks for a set of gauges and the tuner...

Custom tuned SCT is the way to go on a 6.0. Check with some of our vendors, I don't know what the prices are like right now.

Please listen to this old lady.... SEND IT BACK. For the sake of your motor and tranny, SEND IT BACK. I know this from experience. Listen to what the others are saying. A SCT with custom tuning and a set of gauges and you will never look back. Trust me on this one. Besides, would a Granny lie to you?

well when i went to buy it he did say he recomends the SCT. He also recomends the Predator. Iv got all the guages i need im just waiting on the pillar to come in. Will there be any performance difference between the SCT and the Predator? I dont like the way the predator is making the truck shift

yes a big difference and u can change ur shift pressure ive had both and sct is theway to go get on craigslist and find a x3 i got mine for 200

omg yes.... its a night and day diff going from stock generic tunes to custom tunes...

you will love how the SCT with custom tunes feels....

if you already got the gauges the x3 sct is like 400 give or take i dont remember and of coarse additional for custom tunes.. idp sells 3 customs for 165$. and ive never heard anybody rec. a diablo tuner. it will be a huge difference is the stock tunes off your diablo and with the custom tunes they tune your tranny too so you wont be sorry

Custom tuning for the SCT is not only for your motor but also custom tuning for your tranny. I know all about what the Predator can do to your tranny. It can be very hard on it. It can have some nice power on the highest setting but you are playing with fire. The Granny Truck was burned by it! There is a reason why nearly all 6.0L owners who run tuners use the SCT with custom tuning. It is simply what is best for your truck. You can go as mild or as crazy as you like. It is all up to you and your right foot.
