For all of you that have forgot more then ill ever know. i have a quick brake question.
Over the weekend i ordered Hawk LTS pads and drilled and slotted rotors. Will i see a major improvement in braking?... and better yet when i tow my 8k travel trailer from ohio to florida will i notice a difference thru the mountains?... thanks in advance im just tryin to justify in my head puttin alot a coin down even though i already ordered em. |

I've noticed a pretty significant difference in stopping power with the drilled/slotted combo--especially towing my skid loader around. They create quite a bit of dust though and when i wash my truck I gotta get the pressure washer out to get the dust out of the drill holes. Only thing I worry about is warping/cracking. Haven't been through the mountains.
All in all I think they were a great buy |

does anybody sell a kit that allows you to run larger rotors? i understand this would require aftermarket calipers, but that is the only true way to get serious improvement in braking power is to get bigger rotors and larger calipers....
