ficm programming

thinking about getting the ficm programmed, what kind of difference should it make with tunes and stage 2s.Im running a 13.1 in the quarter now trying to break into the 12's

what setup you have in there now? it wont make a huge difference... but it isnt a bad thing to do if you have 200 burning a hole in your pocket. Mine was done thru innovative. add a shot of nitrous, that will put you in the 12s.

I did mine before I had the mods in red, and it really helped with my turbo lag, which wasn't all that bad to begin with. It's not so much a power upgade, and I think most places come out and say it's not a power adder. I never put mine on the strip, but I noticed a HUGE difference day to day...so much fun! Also saw a 2mpg increase on winter blend fuel. Don't know what I picked up with regular diesel, I haven't driven the truck since Feb, or with the new mods. Maybe this month.

thanks good to know! right now its got 190s, and tunes from river city. air dog 2 and regulated return. trans and turbo are stock. lol trying to stay away from the nos and keep it fuel only. but thanks for the idea
