A long shot...
This might be a long shot...but it looks like I'm gonna be pullin my RCD injectors and sending them back to them for a refund. Only problem is, my mechanic refuses to let the truck sit there without injectors in the cylinders (which I understand) because of the risk of something getting in the cylinder (dirt, moisture, etc).
So I come to you with a favor to ask. Does anyone have some stock 6.0L injectors I could borrow or buy from you for a few weeks? Kinda low on cash (I've spent almost 3300 on injectors, plus about 400 in shipping bad injectors back, lost revenue on my lawn business, and 2K in labor i'm working off for my mechanic) so I'd be willing to work out any kind of deal if possible. Thanks in advance guys...I'm going to try to get some cassely injectors once my credit card is credited back from my RCD refund...

just tell him to reinstall the valve covers while the injectors are out.

Because I have been dealing with injector issues since April. And when I installed the RCD's I've replaced 2 of theirs so far...and about to be 3 it looks like. I'm just fed up and it's costing me more money than it ever should have.

Well of course he'd put the valve covers back on...I still don't think he's comfortable with it though.

You need to call your mechanic and tell him to quit giving you excuses and to tell you the truth. Once the valve covers are on there is nothing getting in there.
