Kickin out the cat

I got my truck straight pipe the other day and it sounds great, but i cant hear the 03 whistle Iam suppose to have . Do have to get rid of the cat or can I gut it. If i have to get rid of it where can i get one of the cat delete pipes.

I would just do a 4" straight pipe turbo back and be done with it. You will get all the whistle you want. Is yours turbo back? You should beable to get a cat delete pipe from who ever made your kit.

Take the cat off i don't know if they just sell that piece of pipe by it self.

I kept the stock system we just cut out the muffler. I will eventually get a new exhauste but for now can I just gut the cat.

I would not gut the cat. I would just get a cat delete pipe for your truck. That way you can always put the cat back on for inspections and what not. I believe texas has inspections for diesels.

I was lookin at the vendors and most of the cat delete pipes say they are for aftermarket exhauste where exactky can I find one for the stocker.

Get ahold of some one that has replaced there stock exhaust on there truck. Then make your own cat delete pipe.
