SCT X3 Problem...

I have an x3 that i used on one of my 6.0's that i used to own that i wanted to use on the truck i have now. I never used the canned tunes that were on the x3 on the other truck so i was under the impression that it was not locked to that truck. I only ever used it for loading custom tunes. I was tryin to use the canned tunes on the truck i have now and it comes with an error everytime it reads my strategy. It says somethin like "ecu unsupported" Does anyone know whats going on or what i need to do?

It doesn't matter if you use the canned tunes or the custom tunes, it marries to the vehicle. Did you return the previous vehicle back to stock? If so, then its not locked, it may just simply need a firmware update. Look under device info and see what the firmware version is, also look up your vehicles strategy and post it up.

Ok i didnt realize that it married to the vehicle no matter what tune i used. i did return the other vehicle to stock, so i should be fine there. I cant remember the strategy, i'll have to check it when i get off work today. I dont know if i still have the disc that came with the x3 so i hope i can still update the firmware. I forget how to do all that since its been over a year since i used the x3
