How to Monitor EOT
Can someone tell me how to monitor EOT on my livewire. I have read on here that a lot of people do it but I can't find the engine oil temp parameter on my Livewire. Is called something different or abbreviated differently? or might I need to update the livewire? I have the ECT up and running with no problem...runs between 186 and 198 down here with outside temps in the upper 90's.
Thanks |

Which engine strat do you have? You need the Livelink program off the SCT website. Post your strat and get the livelink program, then report back to me. Word of caution though it seems like the EOTs on the livewire's isn't exactly right, first off it is in Celsuis, and mine on start up is like 600 then works its way down.

I don't think SCT has any of the PID's working correctly for the 6.0l but maybe the ECT, TFT and the volts. If there are others that work, they aren't ones that I would use on a daily basis. EOT does not work period, celsius or not it is not correct, not even close so don't rely on its information.

Ok the EOT is off, I talked to the SCT rep ( I am posting that convo. in my threat about Livewire ECT and EOT) he said SCT has a whole update for the livewire coming out to correct issues with a bunch of vehicles. My monitor ECT, VSS, Volts, EGT, IAT, and RPMs (all accurate) I have no need to do TFT because the ECT gives me a decent idea of it.
