Airdog II advice??

So I have my airdog II "limited edition" sitting in my room. My truck is gone till Sunday so I'm trying to decide what I want to do for the install. Here are my options tell me what you think.

Option 1) Completely remove the factory system including fuel bowl on the engine. I have trusted performance stage 1 lines already so I would just run a piece of -8 AN SS line and connect my airdog to the trusted performance lines with a billet Y piece. Is it ok to just use the regulator on the airdog to control the fuel pressure?? I remember reading somewhere that you should use the factory regulator and set the airdog at a higher PSI so the airdog regulator doesn't do anything. Doesn't really make sense to me why but maybe someone can explain.

Option 2) My kit doesn't have the new T-fitting for the return line so if I want to get one I can hook up the airdog to the factory lines and just remove the filter and plastic inners on the fuel bowl.

With either option I will have to wait for parts, from airdog or summit. Just trying to decide what to do. Thanks for the help guys
