Question Granatelli Big G

I have a 2004 6.0L that is completely stock. I eventually am going to go to a cold air intake and a 4" turbo-back exhaust. Right now I am really interested in getting a Granatelli Big G Mileage Miser tuner. Does anyone have any experience with this setup? Would I be smart to upgrade the intake and exhaust BEFORE I get the Big G? I am especially interested in the 3 MPG increase that is advertised. Any advice and opinions would be appreciated!

What is that? Never heard of it. Do it in this order as far as mods.

Guages
Exhaust
SCT tuner with custom tunes.
Intake from the factory is actually pretty good until you start going bigger.

With the SCT, you can get tunes from many differnt people, and tunes that go from mild to wild. You will be much happier with the SCT I am sure.

And great to have ya here.

Hey Rumbles.

If you want the Granatelli product, get the big-G and leave it on the economy setting. That way you have room to play if you want. The miser is a one-shot deal, whereas the big-G is adjustable on the fly. The granatelli people are awesome. They really know their products and will help you out in any way they can. I just got their flash tuner and I am really impressed with it. Just my .02.

Thanks for the replies! Gauges...................I'll be honest and tell you that the idea of gauge installation scares the crap out of me! I want to mod my truck safely, wisely and in the right order, so if this is what needs to be done first, then I am all for it. Does anyone have any ballpark ideas on what it might cost me to get a set installed.......either by myself of to have a shop do it for me? Are there any "Bibles" out there on gauge installation?
