Save your money. Drill and tap the factory elbow. I have the CFM+ Largemouth with the larger pipe. There is no noticeable performance difference for the $400+.

I was asking about this a couple of months ago and the general consensus that I got was to just save my money, that there is no real benefit to installing the intake elbow.

Ive done some research and no one really sees a difference unless you are pushing big power. What I have seen some guys do is they port out their stock one to make it flow better then tap it for the boost gauge. This is what Im gonna do.

I was wondering about this as well. S&B has their intake and elbow kits on sale. 100 bucks off the total package.

Any input on this?

S&B Airflow package

I haven't put an intake in yet. I'm looking at them. This seems like quite the deal, especially with the Canadian dollar doing so well.

I like my S&B intake, looks like a good deal I would jump on it.

just get a stock 05^ style intake elbow, these "upgraded" ones really dont do much.

Save your money on an elbow. I didn't even notice a change with the full Banks elbow and intercooler kit.
