7.3 guy wanting to know something ?

just wanting to know I am looking at a 6.0 and wanting to know what kind of hp you guys get with a chip ,exaust,intake ,and a few other small mods can the 6.0 beat a 6.7 cummins with the same mods ?? I know the 6.0 will move but how much can you guys put on your stock bottom end ?? I know about the egr delete and headstuds but that is about it any info would help thanks

Just my opinion but if you have a good running 7.3 I would keep it. I'm new to Ford diesels but my friends 7.3's have a lot less trouble than my 6.0. My brother has a 2008 6.7 with the filter delete, intake, ATS tranny and Edge Box. I don't think you could build a 6.0 to hang with his 6.7 with 10K behind it.

A 6.0 with Exhaust and custom tunes (intake not needed) will be around 400-420hp range. I dont know about the 6.7 Cummins but a dodge cant take big tunes with out trannie upgrades.
