6.0 shift kit?

Does anyone know if there is a shift kit available for an 04 F350 CCLB DRW 6.0? Any help would be appreciated.

You can get a modified direct solenoid that will help a lot. Check Gogodiesel.

They make a shift kit. It is to address a problem in the case. It does not have a performance gain just keeps the tranny from gernading on 03-04 trucks. The direct solenoid is a great adition. Custom tuning though is the best option.

SK® 5R110W

5R110W Ford Torqshift
2003-2005 Vans, Trucks, SUVs – Gas & Diesel
Reduces/Corrects/Prevents: Goes to Neutral while driving or stopped, Won’t move forward or reverse, Slips in reverse, Blown rear case lugs

this is the description given. there is a tsb that addresses this from ford for early 2003 trucks. guess you have been luck, the time is ticking or ford corrected the issue... take your pick

I did that before with my Crown Vic. I rebuilt the trans and did the "Jerry Mod". Forgot about it and loaded a tune. It was AWESOME but wouldnt have lasted long. Simply had the tuner readjust his trans tune.

If you are looking for performance shifts, I would build it through tuning.

The correction kit is reffered to as a shift kit on every tranny site I've seen. On the subject the 03-04 trannys could use a lot of the updated hard parts from the 05+ trannys. There have been a lot of updates since 04.
