Fixing to buy EGR delete... found this on ebay...

im fixing to bite the bullet and buying a egr kit... well, i ran into this on ebay.. do you think it will work? worth it? just dont want to make a mistake.... input please.... 6.0L FORD 6.0 POWERSTROKE DIESEL EGR VALVE DELETE KIT : eBay Motors (item 270572940489 end time May-07-10 06:47:50 PDT)

Looks ok. The 2 most common kits like this one that I have noticed that people have been buying is RCD-River City Diesel or Sinister Diesel

they look very close... but why does the one on ebay have a few more parts? and the blue hose and the "cap" for the egr

ok, they do look the same.. i had to look at the egr delete kit... but why half the price? and the one on ebay says you do not need to remove the manifold?

the few more parts could be they are giving you new bolts for everything? The cap is to replace the egr valve. You do not want to leave that in as pressure will open it up even with it unplugged

im going to jacksonville wed... i might just go by there and get that one... they are pretty good, there is a guy here in tifton that had his entire truck done at FCDP... ill just go with theirs..

i would go with sinister kit if i was you just because alot of people on here have used it including me and its a awesome kit an is like the same price as that one ur looking at

did you install the sinister yourself? did you have to remove the manifold?

If you're close to FCDP I would DEF go there..
Their stuff is good and some of the best customer service yet
