Throttle body, intake elbow ??

I have an 04 truck/engine and I was just cleaning my intercooler boots and I noticed that the electrical plug going into the throttle body (between elbow & manifold) is broken. I did a little research and the 05+ truck dont even have the throttle body or sensors/electrical stuff that is broken on mine... is this correct or am I way off?? If so could I just remove the throttle body completely and put an 05+ intake elbow on it. Or do I just need to go to the dealer and get a new sensor?

I figured it out... If anyone is curious yes the 05 elbow will work on 03-04 trucks, you just remove the throttle body/plate. Mods feel free to delete this thread if you wish
