Tuner time!! Please help decide??

OK guys, I know there are a ton of posts/threads about this but I can't seem to find my decision maker...I currently have guages but lack trans temp....I know I want SCT but torn between Livewire or X3, $$$ for either one not a real issue just want to know which one and some input on advantages/disadvantages of both or just your experience...I'm willing to change my guages completely b/c I will need trans temp.... Thanks

X3 if you already have gauges. I've heard the Livewire is not a very good gauge system.

OK,Thanks, guess your right, not redoing guages makes sense, theres nothing wrong with what I have, just don't have trans temp...i guess thats easy enough with a single mechanical on pillar and X3

if you already have gauges id just switch to a 4 pod pillar and put all 4 up there.

X3 is all you need. The rest are money for fluff. The canned tunes aren't worth paying for and as stated before the Livewire for gauges is not worth it either. You already have gauges so just add the trans temp. I love that I have all that in my Insight. I added fuel pressure though and will be adding oil pressre as well.

another vote for a X3... we can set you up with the X3 with custom tunes and a diff pod and a trans temp gauge... would be much cheaper than buying all the gauges all over again...

I'm guessing the guages I have are not known to many...TS Performance monitor is a digital guage, like Insight, but not as many parameters only ICP fuel press, RPM, EGT, & boost. Heres what it is: Diesel Performance Specialists

If anyone sees this a likes it, it works perfectly and I may replace it depending on what I choose to do as far as tuner and trans temp

Raul, can you shoot me a price on X3 w/custom tunes alone and also w/Insight as a "package"

That's a good decision for a package. You'll need the Edge egt probe too if you want egt's.

Will the probe I have installed already for TSP monitor work with the Insight, or do I have to buy the Insight one?
