SCT Tuner where should I buy it???

Exactly what the title says...Where is the best place to buy an SCT tuner, and the preferred place to get the tunes from.

I don't want anything to aggressive, maybe 40 to 70hp range, a little better fuel mileage would be cool too.

I currently have an Edge Evolution and have been pretty happy with it, but I want to do the EGR delete, adn want a tune that turns off the DTC 0404 and 04045...which is the codes you get with EGR not hooked up.

Thanks,

Tim

Go with any of the vendors, they will do you right

And btw, the highest horsepower tunes will give you the best MPG if you keep your foot out of it

Agree with npccpartsman, Eric (the Programmer) is very good at his job and makes it very simple for you.

Eric's tunes are good but he's not the only game in town. Lot's of people, myself included running Matt @ Gearheads SRL and are real happy with it. I have tunes from Eric as well but run SRL as my daily. Best throttle response of any tune I've seen.

I have 3 of the TSX's in customer trucks and they love them battery life sucks but if you leave it plugged in, its a very nice unit.

Damn - hate to hear bout battery life. You don't NEED to keep it on all the time though right? Like for driving around town I wont, but will put it up when I know and if/when I race...

No, it doesnt have to stay on all the time, you can power it off whenever you wish.
