fastest removal of stock down pipe?

Taking off the stock turbo down pipe and installing turbo back 4" exhaust

What is the best and fastest way to get the stock turbo down pipe out?

Working in between rain showers today and that seems to be the slowest point in the process.

Thanks in advance!

Know one seems to like my way but the absolute fastest way is to take the trans x-member off. THe down pipe literally falls to the ground. No cutting and no beating on it. X-member takes less time to remove then the downpipe bolts and clamp anyway. Just put a jack under the trans to support the weight.

i used a sawzall and it worked, but i agree, the crossmember would be the easiest and fastest. if you have a jack for the tranny.

Sawzall with a 10-12" blade will make quick work of it. I would imagine the 5 minutes it took me to cut mine in half is quicker than removing the support cross member...

I used a sawsall on my stocker too. Took a couple of minutes and it was gone. Getting the V band clamp off the down pipe the first time takes way more time and is way more frustrating.
