Elite-Diesel has great tunes for the 7.3l also. Tony is very good as well. David Lott, Jody, lots of options for the 7.3L.

I've never done a survey, but they are out there. That is why I leave that option open.

Our church is a new church that meets every week in a profesional building in town. Every sunday two trailers full of equipment have to be hauled to this building and setup before church, and every sunday on an extreme race file from Innovative Diesel I smoke the crap out of an 06 Toyota Tundra while pulling a 8k pound trailer. Tire smoke, exhaust smoke, and free coffee is how I start my sunday mornings. He keeps telling me when Toyota gets a diesel I will have to buy the coffee......I aint skeered!

well what do you think would be best for me?

I love workin on my truck. Adding turbos and injectors, replaceing HPOP orings, whell hub assemblies and whatnot in the driveway with the neighbors always lookin at me tryin to figure out what Im up to now and how much rubber is gonna be laid down on the thru street this time. I know they've all got to be saying "damm look hes workin on that truck again". But it always fires up and runs when I'm done.

Why ?
Every time you switch your Bully Dog, Edge, etc...which have no trans controls BTW...the trans goes through it's learning crap again...causing erratic shifts among other issues.

The reason why is that I pull dump trailers with my trucks, on the way to dump the trailers they gross between 26000-28000, dump the trailer, switch the bullydog and go, no down time.
But I am looking at buying an SCT, with some custom tow tunes........and maybe a looney tune.....and an extreme race tune.....and maybe a water/meth install......................................

Okay, I guess I'll get into this. I'm looking too, but not real serious yet. I'm still on the fence. Everybody likes SCT and I think it would be my clear choice, but I like the Edge having the EGT probe as part of the package. One less gauge, and I really like my grab handle on the A pillar.
I thought I read that SCT is talking about putting an EGT on the Livewire. That I think would make it a no brainer. Anybody else confirm that?

I'll give you my totally unbiased opinion.

I started out wanting the Banks 6 gun. I wanted "on the fly" myself. After reading on here about the options available for a lot cheaper I changed my mind.

So I kept reading, I too thought the site was biased towards the SCT also.

Long story short - I almost decided on the Bully Dog and then went and got the test trial of it. I liked the power o.k. but my transmission acted kind of funny at times. Not always but some.

Then a couple of guys told me they had the BD but swapped and got the SCT. These weren't vendors.

Then last night I got to talking to Stump about the SCT and other tuners. After talking with him (for a couple of hours) I decided to go with an SCT because Stump had the same questions and concerns I have, when he was deciding on a tuner for himself and is totally happy with the SCT.

I did want the on-the-fly but I traded that (or will be soon) to have better transmission shifting.

Sorry this was so long but this was as quick as could sum up my experience.

And no I'm definitely not a vendor. Just a hard working guy that wants the most for his money and doesn't want to tear up his new truck.

Gauges are also a concern for me. My truck is a King Ranch and I would like to keep my handle there. Has anyone Seen/Have the gauge cluster that goes right above the rear view mirror?
