sct tow tune ?

i have inno diesels tow tune and i pull a camper thats about 14000 whats the max that you can tow with this tune it is safe to tow as much as i want ? and whats a safe egt and tranny temp while towing. thanks.

man i love it . i pulled with it for the first time the other day the power is crazy ive always pulled with a 7.3 and now ill take the 6.0 befor the 7.3 . erics tunes tow tune is a smooth tune had good power. i just wanna make sure i can pull alot with it and be safe

You are fine pulling that weight with that Tow tune. Egts- Dont hold it over 1200 for very long. Transmission- dont let it get over 200.

why would that be may i ask? it's better to tow that heavy stock then it is with a Tune?? kinda doesn't make sense?

Actually it does if you know anything about tuning. Higher horsepower tunes increase cylinder pressures.

Most peoples tow tunes are designed for 10-14k max trailer weight. Most tow tunes that are written to tow heavier than that are trans only files anyway

Great tow tune is a SCT with Cales heavy tow..will not get over 1200* and plenty of additional HP.

Woah.... No attitude needed pal. i was stating that you were wrong by saying that, i didn't understand how it would be better and that's why i said it didn't make sense. because no i don't know about tuning that's why i was hoping to get some input on it so i could learn. but thank you for telling me that's very intersting info. But i have another question if you don't mind. and i;m not being a smartass i really just don't understand. If your stock settings can tow up to 20k why waste the money to get a tune to pull 10-14k when the stock settings will do it?
