Calling SCT experts.

I was planning on getting the sct custom tunes and guage combo. A few problems. This will be my first programmer/tuner/chip...ect. Once i buy it will I have to get some one to set it up for me? Can i do it myself? Just don't want to buy it then it be useless becaues i don't know how to use it.

If you are in any way mechanicly inclined you should have no problems with the install of your guages, and getting the SCT ready for flashing your truck. Very simple process. If you search around a bit you will find alot of threads about both of your questions..

SCT has some good tech support on there website. On occasion i have had issues with the software and the techs can remote right into your computer to set things up if you have issues.You won't have any problem with the SCT.

not too hard at all... there are plenty of write ups for the gauge install that i can link you too and the SCT is not too bad either.. if your going with a SCT like innovative tunes one the X3 will get sent blank to you...

once you have it plug it into your OBS 2 port and get your trucks strategy.. once you have that you email it to Eric.. wait about 24hours and he will email it back your tunes...

load the tunes via the software and then to your truck
