Dealership cost? How much for a full synthetic oil change and fuel filter change?

I pay arond $165.00 cdn.... for filter and change. Right now the dollar is pretty much par with the american greenback.

Sounds like rape to me ouch. I pay 20 a gallon for full syth I buy 4 gallons and a 15$ filter. So I pay 95 spend 20 minutes doing it and save nearly enough for another oil change compared to ford. woohoo

dstryr, yea man, oil changes are easier on the 6.0 than any other engine I've ever been around. You can guy just a couple of tools to do it yourself along with a bucket. If you truck is lifted a little you should be able to slide a bucket right under the drain. Fuel filter changes are pretty easy too and lookup international cross-over numbers for the fuel filters as they are 1/3 the price from Ford and exactly the same. Do the oil and fuel filter changes youself and you'll save tons of money.

I don't run full synthetic but I pay $120 for oil change. I think it's worth it. Don't have to crawl under the truck (2wd) and I don't have to deal with the oil and filter.

I only did it because I was so busy at work lately and with school I didnt have time or patience to deal with getting rid of the oil...I currently have 10 qts in a bin in my garage :x
