Tune worries
I just ordered the Xtreme Street tune from Innovative Diesel and it has me worried. Ted over there said its the best for economy if I drive it nice. My truck is stock as a rock except for my cat delete, oh and I prayed over it.
Anyways, will it kill my truck? I don't tow heavy or drive it like I stole it. I might jump on it here and there. Let my know so I can change it... |

It wont kill your truck as long as you are not stupid with it. Do you have gauges?

Not yet... On the list of thing to get. Do you think I should just get the regular street tune? All I tow is 2 atvs and firewood.

The only thing I tow is 2 atvs and firewood. So its nothing major. So you guys think I should just keep it?

It doesnt matter. I can hit 1700* no problem not towing a single thing.

1700..short lived if you do it often..1250 is the limit...

Keep the xtreme street. You'll be fine with it. Lots of folks running that tune without studs or anything. With an othewise stock truck I doubt you'll get anywhere close to 1700*. I've never seen my truck over 1200 on any of the tunes with stock sticks and an 03 turbo. Get the gauges though so you aren't guessing.
