MBRP no cat, no muff, ftw!

Gotta love the sound! Just got the cat delete pipe- i LOVE it. I will say that I have to get used to the WOT sound, but it's UNBELIEVABLE under an overpass, almost hurts Little more soot, lots of turbo whistle, almost like an 03. Pretty comparable, I'm VERY happy!
Y'all should try it!

Does it sound better than a MBRP with the muffler on?

hotdog- I never had the muffler on in the first place. so yeah. it does.
Stevey- If anything there will be a power gain and OH YEAH it's a lot louder than the cat. Everyone I talked to, that didn't know diesels, thought the cat was my muffler. haha It did it's job of holding back soot, and even a good amount of sound.

I have an 05 and want to go with MBRP. Why is it that regardless, it will not whistle as much as 04 and older? For 05+, does it still make the sweet whistle? Also, I heard that just doing custom piping and cutting off cats is the same as MBRP? Sorry for all the ?s but I am new here guys!
