New SCT

Hello all,

I just got my new SCT and WOW!!! What a difference. I'm using the canned street tune and its like a different truck. It runs like a cat with its tail on fire!

I'm looking to get a good custom tune for mileage, but for now I'll stick with the canned tunes. Does anyone know which canned tune is the best for mileage?

How did it change the truck? What is the big difference? I have been thinking of doing this, but what is the biggest difference I'll see, don't what to blow the doors off my truc, looking for the economy side of things.

You think it's good with the canned tunes wait til you get custom tunes. It's worlds diffeence, it will feel like your truck was stock before. I have the extreme street and it's amazingly different in power compared to the canned performance. And you will get the best mileage with performance tunes If you can keep your foot out of it. I would say get a custom tune ASAP

Well, the biggest difference I see is power, low end and high. Not sure about mileage yet. I have to figure out what canned tune gets the best mileage, untill I get a custom tune.

tHe tune that will give the best mileage will most likely be the performance tune
