Just bought my first 6.0! Freaking awsome!!

Just drove it home from Calgary, took two days. Lots of twisty mountain roads with no radar traps. I cannot believe how much power she has. Came with a 4" turbo back exhaust, no cat. I could listen to the sound of the turbo spooling and unspooling all day

Every time i went through a tunnel I would roll down the windows and mash it

Truck needs a couple of ball joints, parking break cable and some new tires, other than that she seems tight.
Lariat interior too. A score for 10 grand!

170k, seems to run great. The only hiccup performance wise was one time when I stomped on it from a dead stop, there was a huge lag before the turbo spooled up. It hasn't done it since, and I made sure to boost it a little with my foot on the brake if i had to pull out quickly after that.

It has a lot of turbo whistle, I thought the '05 didn't have so much. Not that I am complaining

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm a big advocate of this. I'd like to hear what exactly happened to your truck as a result of running it hard cold.

I would also be interested in knowing. I know it sounded like hell when i first started it in the freezing cold, I can't imagine that would be good to drive it like that let alone drive it hard.
