SCT tuner help

i recently bought an SCT tuner used. i was wondering how to program all my specs into it and whatnot. since it didnt come with any instructions im clueless. all i have is the disc and the tuner. also if someone could steer me to a site that makes the custom tunes that would be great!

hey thanks a lot. I have one more important question. I hve an edge chip installed in my truck will there be a problem if I tuned it and still had the chip in or no?

You can download the user manual for the SF3/X3 from SCT's site. You will want to remove all other tuners/chips when using the SCT Flash device.

what about if I keep the edge chip on stock and just use it for gauges??

you can leave the Edge and use it for gauges if its not an edge platinum, if its a platinum, it can still be done but its a major PITA.

If you want some tuned from IDP, we are a retailer for them, I can get you lined out with some tunes.

that would be great!! I was wondering if there was a tune to block off the EGR valve bc thats my biggest problem with the truck.

ID's tunes basically block the EGR electronically.
