Rather than cut one big hole in the grill/headlamp mounting panel and then have to add a screen or small grille, why not just drill a bunch of 1/8" holes? You know like a full choke shot gun pattern!

Try it... if you don't like the way it works, you can always cut it out and put a screen over it. If you do decide to do the smaller holes, post some pics.

Yup, like that, but just drill that pattern in the headlamp/grill mounting panel itself.

I chose to do mine with a finer screen to keep bugs and such out and it actually acts as somewhat of a pre-filter if you will.

I had a friend that didnt have anything but a 1/4 drill bit, so he just went to town on that panel till it was full of holes. Same thing...

I did it! Kinda crappy, but I didn't have a Dremel at the time

So when I find time, and some fine screen like PGreenSVT has, I'll take a Dremel to it and make a big hole
