Only difference is a slightly difference in sizing on the turbine side, the compressor side is still the same 64.7 in size. What are you planning for ?

Difference is in the compressor wheel. There are two dimensions when talking wheels on turbos, an inducer and exducer. The SS and SSX share almost identical inducer size on the compressor wheel, but the SSX uses a 94mm exducer as opposed to the 88mm used on the SS compressor wheel. I had both, and the SS was better for towing, but if you are considering either, call Elite and see what they recommend for your specific needs and uses.
