Whats involved in full studs and egr??????

I am debating getting an either 06 or 07 6.0. I have heard all the bad stories. But if I get a 6.0 and i put arp studs and egr full delete, is the 6.0 full proof?Because if i get a 6.0 I dont want to get all paranoid about blowin gaskets or any other bad 6.0 story. And if the 6.0 is mostly 100% reliable and i wont have to be worried to juice her ever once in a while, how much is the full process of cab removal, arp install, and egr delete? Just need to know if I get the 6.0, how much cash do I hve to put out to get the egr delete and studs (with installation and everything)

Thanks

You're looking at about anywhere from $2000-$3000 depending on labor. Or could wait like I did, wait for the gaskets to blow, then supply the parts under warranty while they are doing the HG job Saved me a buttload of money on labor costs.

dealership will run you around 3000-$3500 plus parts , an independant around 2000-$3000 plus parts. you can find tech that do them on the side for less. I do them on the side for $1500 plus parts. that should give you an idea.

Thats cool and all, but kind of misleading as not EVERYONE gets the opportunity to have studs and EGR delete installed under warranty, especially with ford cracking down on warranty claims.
