ARP Headstuds - How many?

As I'm piecing this project together and gathering parts, I've become a little confused. To those of you who have done the ARP stud replacement, is the kit a complete head stud kit? I've read either here or elsewhere that they're only the long studs and the shorties aren't replaced.

Now due to my ignorance (as I've never opened up a 6.0L diesel before) I'm not sure what I'm looking for exactly, if the shorties aren't replaced, will I have to replace them anyway as they're torqued to yield correct?

The HG's and the studs are the two last items on my list (oh and an oil cooler rebuild kit).

TIA

Ok, so now that I know, the bolts just under the valve cover in the head, are those replaced?

Just got my studs...looks like 20 bolts, 20 washers and 20 nuts. Along with a sticker, instructions and lube.

Sounds like a girl I dated in Korea...gotta love the Corps.

oh and all the bolts are the same.

LOL!

Hah, anyway, I guess now that I think back, my question stems from people asking how they can tell if their 6.0L motor has had studs put in. I remember someone saying to go and look on the driver's side valve cover, the bolts below it in the head would tell you if studs are in or not.

I guess that was mis-info then and confused the crap outta me.

Thanks for the info guys.

5 of the head bolts are under the rocker cover and the othter 5 heads bolts are outside and below the rocker cover by the glow plug harness. you can see if it is studded without removing the rocker cover.
