EGR VALVE Question

I removed the EGR Valve outta my truck, and man was it dirty... But I was thinking about running a EGR VALVE DELETE/BLOCK OFF cause I cant afford a EGR Delete Kit till summer... Does anyone know where I can get a EGR VALVE BLOCK OFF???

What are you trying to block? The exhaust from going through the cooler? Or through the valve itself?

If exhaust through cooler: Some have put a "freeze" plug in the "y" of the up pipe. I've read the size for freeze plug is 1.375"
If through the valve: Turn engine off, let cool, and unplug the valve.

Unplugging valve will through a CEL on 05-07 not on 03-04.

I have an 04 and unplugged mine until mid April. Then I will delete the cooler.

The Valve it self.. I will probably end up just running it unplugged for now. because I cant find a EGR VALVE block off with out buying the whole kit

i made my own egr cooler delet kit cost me about 20 bucks and some time. but you have to be able to weld and have a means of cutting some steel.
