Trouble loading files

I am havin trouble loading files on my SCT. I got the new firmware and have loaded tons of files and never had any troubles. When i saved it off my email it showed up as a zip file which i have no idea why it did that usually they are a ll3. So if you have any ideas what i am doing wrong i would appreciate your help thanks a lot.

Making some assumptions here.

When you save it from your email, you are saving it to a directory on your computer - it shows up there as a .zip file.

You are unzipping the file once it gets to its destination.

Did I get that right or did I misunderstand?

K - Let me see if I can explain. Sometimes when multilple files are sent at the same time, a program like WinZip is used to compresses the files (makes the combined size smaller so it can be emailed easier). That's why you got the .zip file.

You can download WinZip for free here: Download WinZip

You can use this to "unzip" (return the files to their original size) the .zip file which should give you the ll3 files you need for your SCT.

If the above still doesn't make sense.....the Alternatives...

1. Find a person that understands the above to 'unzip' the files. Ask them if they will do it for you.
-OR-
2. call SCT and ask them to send the ll3 files directly (without the .zip)

Hope that clears it up.
