SCT low HP tune????

I'm wanting to know if i can get a custom tune that has little to no hp gain? I'm most interested in tuning the tranny, changing the revs and being able to disable the egr. I have 4 months left on warranty and I am happy with the stock power and want to keep everything else stock (heads, egr, etc) until later down the road. Anyone have a clue if such a tune is possible? Thanks in advance for any input.

Matt at Gearhead can write you a Trans Only tune...do you have an SF3 or X3? The SF3 comes with a pre-programmed Trans Only tune.

I would not want to mess with canned tunes. If you have a chance to get custom tuning, get it. To answer you question, the tuners, can do what you are asking. Give them a call and just explain to them what you are wanting to do. I am sure they can take care of you.

SCT makes a mileage tune which only adds 20HP and 40TQ. You may want to take a look at that.

Thanks everyone. I don't have a tuner yet, but now that I know I can get custom tuning with less ponies, I'm going to pull the trigger. Does anyone out there have a low hp tune that they have experience with and would recommend? Please post what tune and vendor. Truck (EX) is mainly a daily driver that sees city/hwy driving.

It seems that everyone on here recommends the SCT X3 for custom tunes. SCT is one of the venders here, so you may want to see what they can do for ya.
