Stock pump or AD2
I am suspect of my fuel pump taking a crap on me. Its starting to get loud and I am starting to look around now. I know the stock pump is cheaper but the airdog needs minor line fabrication. I dont have the tools but are they just flairing tools and pipe benders? and then getting the power from the stock location to the new pump.
The stocker. remove old install new. Here is what I have. I have the SCT with Matt's file and a TB exhaust. I really don't have the bankroll to be doing bigger injectors and and turbos and stuff like that. besides I am still on stock bolts. So its like it is right now. Do I need to upgrade to the AD2 and should I do a regulated return with it? |

I have the Airdog II 130/75 and love it.
My truck has stock sticks and was seeing my fuel psi drop to 20 at WOT. The install is not that hard. The stock unit stays in place for the return line to go in to. The rest is just running the new lines and wires. You will need a fuel line removal tool, about $15 at Auto Zone. You should also get a fuel psi gauge. |

I say add an airdog. If you want some prices, let me know.

I want some prices.
Who can I get a dipricol electric FP gauge from or should I just get something that could be an on and off thing when needed? Last edited by wildfingas; 03-10-2010 at 05:58 PM. |
