Getting a Spartan! EGT probe?

Im getting a Spartan Tuner and I was wondering if any of you guys who are running one have it set up to monitor EGTs? I know you have to get a probe but where and what else?

Its obviously going to have a thermocouple. What I am saying is it should just plug into the dash dac.

OK what you need is a thermocouple into a k type adapter to change it to 5v signal then in to a k type to usb converter then it can be plugged in to the DashDAQ if anyone needed to know.

they are $999. Worth it in my mind. I want one for my 06 now. The DashDAQ is amazing.

You are talking about a Phalanx. The DashDaq is just the monitoring system that Spartan uses. The DashDaq as just gauges runs $499 at Cobbs Diesel. I was also confused about EGT...
