Livewire question

I'm looking at getting a tuner for my truck and would like to know if the livewire would be good to get as a monitor and tuner since i don't have any gauges yet. thanks

It would work for gauges. I personally would just buy a SCT X3 and analog gauges. I had a livewire and hated it.

It seems most people are running analog gauges and a hand held flash tuner just thought about killing 2 birds with 1 stone!

You could easily do it that way you just need to figure out what you like

This is what I thought too, but after have my LW I sent it back the next day. Couple of things, the construction of the LW looks like you bought it at the local Dollar store. The read out is not all that great and hard to read. Also, the LW is very big, larger than the biggest GPS. There is literally no place to put that thing.

Save yourself the trouble, buy a X3 and the Edge Insight.

You still have the option of analog gauges. But take into consideration that you will loose your oh chit handle and your pillar post will be filled up with gauges. I like the Insight because you can quickly see the necessary parameters of your engine and what it is doing.

You can put gauges above the rear view mirror if your worried about losing the grab handle.
