EGR Parts Question

I'm getting ready to fix this problem part before it becomes a problem. I am going to do the EGR delete myself to save on some money and give me some play time with the truck. My question is to all of those who have done this or even just know the answer, what parts extra will I need (ex. intake gaskets, anything for turbo). Also is there anything else I should do while I'm elbow deep under hood like CCV mod (worth it or not)etc. I'm pretty new to the diesel arena so all the help I can get would be much appreciated. Thanks

Haven't done this yet, but is high on my list. I will do these:

EGR Delete (clean intake manifold)
Rebuild oil cooler
CCV mod

I would add head studs and gaskets to the list, if cash flow permits. I would go with Black Onyx head gaskets as well. You could also look at bulletproof diesel's oil cooler upgrade.
