Ok, I've got bad injectors. Dealer want's $8,000-$10,000 for injectors and head studs. I decided to do injectors, studs, gaskets and EGR delete myself for $3,500. Here is the story. ![]() There she is. ![]() ![]() ![]() Turbo and intake manifold off. Old injectors. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Truck has 128,000 miles. ![]() Now that we have it apart, let's start putting it back together. ![]() ![]() Hypermax stage 1 ![]() EGR delete. ![]() ![]() CCA delete.(two washers,a bolt, silicon and two nuts.) ![]() Silencer ring removed with 3" hole saw and buffing wheel. ![]() Got it back together, cranked for about 30 seconds and fired right up. It took my son and I 25 hr. to do this. P.S. Don't forget to put the tranny dipstick tube on before you put the cab on. P.S.S. Don't ever, ever, ever spin the steering wheel when it is disconected off the shaft. |

We had an a/c friend of mine pump it down and unhooked it Ihav not recharged it yet.
