Airdog 2 Install

I just bought an airdog 2 130/75 for my 6.0! When I first opened the box I was surprised by how compact the whole unit is. I started assembling it and getting it ready to mount on the truck tonight. Seems very well thought out and very well built! I will post up some pics as I go, I hope to install it tomorrow night if I have time. I will let everyone know what I think after install.

I hope I dont have any problems! What is the deal with your pumps? motors burning out? How much psi you running? I have heard a lot of good things about the AD pumps so Im kind of shocked.

Well I put in the dog today and it was a piece of cake. I mounted it right behind the transfer case. Took some time just to see where I wanted to run the lines and strap everything in nice. I also sleeved the lines in wire loom to hopefully prevent any chafing. Its a quiet pump, but really should be rubber mounted. Very happy with the way it went in and the finished product. I didnt take any pics as I went this time seeing as how the directions are so detailed, but I will take a few of the finished product when I get a chance. I dont want to say anything performance wise until I put some miles on it but the throttle response is noticeably better coming from the weak factory unit I had.
