Studs?

05 f250.Proposed Mods: egr delete, 4 inch turbo back exhaust, and sct programmer, gauges. will this cause to much stress on the factory headbolts and head gasket. The truck is a daily driver, i dont run it hard, dont race it either, only tow a 10k TT Occasionally.

Mine is not studded yet. Still ok and I run her pretty hard! Just get tunes written for your truck and you should be safe. Watch your egts Keep em under 1300 deg and you should be ok.

There are lots of people running SCT tunes without studs. I ran mine that way for 27K miles and just got studs and head gaskets this month. I would plan on getting the studs at some point though.
