BD Boost Fooler

Just ran my truck with my new BD boost fooler and I hit 38 pounds of boost. I also threw a code when I did it. Good thing I just ordered head studs and an egr delete. Just thought I'd share my thoughts!

under the hood on the pass side. I think its worthless, I use SCT the op seems to be really happy with it and I wondering what change in boost he had. I had none.

I maxed it out at 35 psi before I got it. My boost gauge showed 38.

So you think your Turbo can handle 38psi ? I see your stock turbo going boom.

I know it's gonna go boom but it's only a matter of time now! I plan on doing a EDE Tow Power Ball Bearing Bolt-In Turbo Kit upgrade after my stock one goes out. The truck only has 20k miles on it so it should last a while longer...Hopefully.

Two things.... The banks kit already fools the computer on the boost and with the stock gauge it is highly possible even you are being fooled since it is not mechanical. Second is thinking that the banks tuner is going to get you very much out of a aftermarket turbo.

Honestly I'm not sure. It felt like there was a little bit more go but I could have just been in the moment What do you mean when you said I'm not going to get much out of the aftermarket turbo with my Banks setup?
