Need help with sct

Ok to start with I am not very good with computer issues. I just received a new tune and for some reason I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong to get it in the tuner. Here is the deal. The tunes I have received in the past have always been LL3 format I guess and this new tune is CEF. I called Matt and he said they had changed something and I needed to go to sct website and download the new software. I have spent about the last 2 hours messing with this and still cannot get it. When I pull up my live load it shows LL3 still and when I go to browse it will pull up all my ll3 tunes but when I click on the folder with Matts tune it shows nothing. I can close it all out and pull that folder up again and the tune will be there. I hope this makes some sense to you guys because if it was me reading this I would be confused. Can anyone explain what I am doing wrong?

Whe you're searching for the file there should be a drop down next to where it says "LL3" (the little down arrow). Hit that and select "CEF", then your new file should be visible, but your old files won't be. Gotta change back to "LL3" to see those

Hope this works for you

when I hit that drop down all it has is the LL3. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. On my computer my program to run my sct says LiveLoad. Now when I go to their website I have gone to the troubleshooting section. I then click device updates since I have the xcal 2 I select ford excalibrator 2 9400. I then move over and select device update software. The next screen will show Live Load 3 download and Live Update 2. Not sure which one I need to use. I know everytime I update my Live Load I then have another Icon that says Ford Live Load along with my old Icon that just says Live Load. Im ready to put it in the street and run over it!

Ok guys I think I might have figured it out. I went through and removed everything I downloaded to my computer today and started over. The one thing I did different this time was when I was downloading the update I turned my virus protection off. After clicking on my new live load ford icon the live load screen that comes up when you hook the sct up to it now says at the top CEF or LL3. My tune just showed up and loaded on the device. What makes me mad is 4 hours of screwing around and all I had to do was turn my virus protection off. I just want to thank everyone that offered advise.

EDIT : Nevermind, I see you got it figured out while I was typing...................

Have you downloaded the most current Updater? They change it from time to time, maybe the one you have cannot read "CEF" files for some reason. (Uninstall the old one too)

Have you downloaded the most current Firmware, and loaded into onto the SCT?? (make sure truck is returned to stck before you do this)

If you have, and it's still not working right, try starting fresh with everything.......

Uninstall the Updater that is on your computer, delete the firmware from your computer and then go to SCT website and download the current stuff.
