Who did you buy it from?
This intake will fit if you have an 06 but it is a B!tch to get in. You have to disconnect the two overflow hoses and remove the resevoir to get it into place. The air box is an extremely tight fit and takes alot of persaverence to get in. Then the intake tube goes in through the air box somehow passing the MAF mount (very difficult) and then into the turbo. Forget it and send it back because if you do somehow get it into place you will most likely throw a cel. I managed 40 miles before this happened to me. Check out www.dieselmanor.com for the updated version of the Stage II which is what I now have in my truck. I sent the other one back and the revised version is about 120.00 cheaper and very easy to install. The power gained is decent and the sound is sweet.

Good Luck
Scott

Afe

Sorry,I haven"t been on in awhile. The part number off www.dieselmanor.com is

PN: 54-30392
2003-2006 6.0L Stage 2 Air Intake Kit
F-250/350 & Excursion 2003-2006 6.0L PSD
AFE-75-30392

I'm not sure if the original AFE caused a CEL on the 05's

I just put mine in last night. I wish I would have stoped in here before I bought the the AFE stage II intake. They told me today it will be 10 weeks before the new tube is shipped to me. It looks like I will be puting my stock intake back on.

Send it back to who ever you bought it from and ask for a credit. if they do not have the updated version, they should be able to get it from AFE for you. Hopefully you did not buy it off ebay. I was told it would take a long time to get the new tubes as well so I simply told the vendor that I was not happy with the product and he told me I could return it for a full refund which I did but ended up trading it out for the new StageII which I have had no problems with. Not to mention it was much cheaper

Good luck
Scott

I will send an email into our warehouse to make sure we have those on the shelf. I cant imagine that we dont. Plus I'm sure I can blow away Diesel Manor. I will let you know what I find out.
